Portable audio player becomes more and more common in our life nowadays. CD-player, cassette player, radio, MP3 player and mini-disc player are some of the well-known portable audio players today. Among these portable audio player, MP3 players are the most advance in today portable audio technology. MP3 is actually a music file of computer. The name of MP3 came from the extension name of this music file. Since in October 2001, Apple's iPod digital music player has been the leader in its field. Its physical design, clean user interface and great capacity and sound have won raves from critics. People use iPod for many different such as listening music, watching video, playing games, using as storage drive and another. In fact, many people are still confused about choosing what kind of iPod we want to buy. I mean, there are many kinds of them and it is not the same selection that we had a few years ago. Now our options are vast, each kind of iPod comes with different then we want to look at some of the same things and some different things as well so in this paper I will compare price, physical design and functions of iPod nano and iPod Touch point by point.
Price is one of the major concerns for people who want to buy iPod, iPod Touch can cost over twice as much as iPod nano. For the less money, you will always be able to get a much more powerful iPod nano with the same storage. An iPod nano is always giving you more than your money.
Physical design is another difference to be considered. An iPod nano tends to be smaller than an iPod Touch. It is 3.6 x 1.5 x 0.24 inch in size and weight is about 1.3 ounces. This makes the iPod nano more convenient to hold; whereas, the size of iPod Touch is 4.3 x 2.4 0.33 inch and weight is 4.05 ounces. In contrast, an iPod Touch is widescreen Multi-Touch display; thus gamer might appreciate a touch screen because it gives us precise, fingertip control over game elements. On the other hand, Multi-Touch display might quick access and more affect so it could be able to use more battery.
Moreover, internet connection also marks a big difference to be considered. With iPod Touch, Wi-Fi works well we can enjoy using Wi-Fi network to browse the web and get rich HTML email and also to fun with YouTube web’s best video that share from anywhere while having an iPod nano that can enjoy with only import file from USB connector.
In conclusion, an iPod Touch will always be more expensive than other iPod with its Multi-Touch display make we feels(ไม่มี s) even better in our hand and also internet connection make us convenient to check out E-mail, browse the web and enjoy with YouTube. Photoshop or PhotoScape
Photo editing software is a software that people use for creating and modifying images nowadays. In my opinion, whether photographer or programmer, artist or poser, everyone wants to get beautiful and perfect picture, that’s why most people use editing software. There are many programs to choose, and they all include some good things and bad things. I think that the two most common editing software people choose for modifying a picture are the Photoshop and the PhotoScape. They both are actually different in several ways. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the usage, quality of image, and copyright of Photoshop and PhotoScape.
I am going to discuss the Photoshop first. The three aspects are usage, quality of image, and copyright. The usage is always important in order to access photos editing software. If a person dislikes the complicated step, he or she might have a hard time in Photoshop. The manual usage in Photoshop is the first difficulty in accessing them. The users have to adjust, edit, or modify the images by themselves. For example, if you need to adjust the contrast of the picture, you can use the tool provided in the program and change the radius as you like. Also, you can specify the number of contrast or radius in the program in changing your images. Even though Photoshop is very difficult but the hard usage and the various functions of Photoshop also determine the power and quality of the image they offer. RGB, CMYK, grayscale, binary bitmap, and duotone are some color models people can access when using Photoshop. Furthermore, Photoshop has the ability to save the image in many formats such as .EPS, .PNG, .GIF, .JPEG, and Fireworks. That is why they have high quality image. Although, Photoshop is good in quality and function, but they are not easy to download to your computer. Photoshop has no free download on the websites, you have to pay and agree with the license.
Next, I am going to discuss the PhotoScape. The three aspects are usage, quality of image, and copyright. Automatic usage is one of the most important features that PhotoScape has. Easy and convenient are two words that describe the PhotoScape. The usage in PhotoScape is very easy because there are many tools. You can click on the functions that you want such as colors, filters, brightness, resizes, rotate, frames, text, and others. Nonetheless, the easy usage of PhotoScape determines the low quality of image. PhotoScape can utilize only RGB color model and can save the image in .JPEG and .GIF format. Therefore, it cannot make your images to be high quality. However, PhotoScape is a freeware because it has no copyright or license. So, there are many websites that allow you to download this software to your computer.
In conclusion, the Photoshop is more difficult and has high quality of imagcompared to the PhotoScape. Users that have only little knowledge in modifying images will require the PhotoScape; whereas, advanced users require the Photoshop. I think it doesn’t matter what software a person decides to choose. Depending on what the person likes is what he or she will choose.
Film
and Digital Camera
The most notable difference is recording images because images on digital are captured on a sensor (a CCD or CMOS chip) then stored on a memory card or other media so it can transferred to computer and remove image from card to re-keep again for keep image again. Whereas, Images recorded on film comes in different sizes and varying sensitivities to light. These are not reusable and, except for a few APS cameras, once a film is removed you can't put it back to use up any unused film. Moreover, the number of the images on digital can be stored varies according to issues such as picture quality depending on capacity of memory card, otherwise, in general film can keep about 35-36 images per film.
Displaying of images is yet another difference to be considered. Digital camera can be displayed on the camera's LCD or on a PC or TV, depending on the camera. These are convenient to view and select favorite images to store in your digital camera. On the contrary, film camera cannot view the image by itself because it need to be processed professionally and delivered as prints and/or as digital files while digital camera can be printed at home with a suitable printer or printed professionally. In the part of editing image by the same program computer although the way to get it is different because camera can send via USB or memory card but film camera has to printed out, then scan to your computer.
In my opinion, some people are still buying film cameras because of the look and feel of film. Look at the difference between the motion pictures you go to that are shot on film versus shot on video. It's the same thing: film versus digital. Film photography has a life. Film photography is a living, breathing thing. Film pictures have more soul than digital ones. Film pictures have more depth; there's lighter, there's more action going on inside the image because film is a deeper, richer medium. You see much more shadow detail, much more highlight detail in film than you ever will in digital. Conversely, digital is cool, digital is convenient, digital is hot, digital makes beautiful big prints, but there's a look to film. Are regular people going to be shooting film as time goes on? Probably not. The artists, the serious photographers will, just like in the movie business, still shoot film instead of video, and that's because it's a different look; it's a different feel; it's a different medium.

Communication via internet is increasing rapidly because it is easy to work and makes more benefits to the user. Thus, internet has become the world’s extensive, public communication system that now rivals the global telephone system in reach and range. It’s also the world’s largest implementation of client/server computing by linking people around the world can connection each other. The word Internet derives from the word internetworking or the linking of separate networks, each of which retains its own identity, into an interconnected network. There are several ways to access the Internet but the popular and easy to use ways can be classified into three accesses which are measured by performance such as personal area network is Dial-up internet access, local area network is Wi-Fi and the metropolitan area network is WiMax.
The first category is low speed internet such as Dial-up Internet connection because they typically have a maximum theoretical transfer speed of 56 Kbit/ by using the V.90 or V.92 protocol , although in most cases 40-50 Kbit/s is the norm. Factors such as phone line noise as well as the quality of the modem itself play a large part in determining connection speeds. Some connections may be as low as 20 Kbit/s in extremely noisy environments, such as in a dormitory where the phone line is shared with many extensions. Also an increasing amount of Internet content such as streaming media will not work at dialup speeds.
The second category is high speed internet such as Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Internet Connection. The family of Wi-Fi several standards but performance is similar so I will present the popular standard which are 802.11b and 802.11g standards. On the other hand, Wi-Fi performance in security is weak, which makes these wireless networks vulnerable to intruders and it is susceptible to interference from nearby system operating in the same spectrum such as wireless phone, microwave ovens or other wireless LANs.
The beginning of the internet connection use dial-up Internet because it is cheap and easy to use with telephone but a big drawback is noise and weather. They annoy the users so much, thus, wireless technology was developed which is Wi-Fi. It is the most popular in the world nowadays because it has high performance and low cost to installation and service. On the other hand, in the future we should keep an eye on WiMax because it is the newest technology which is the highest speed performance also can make communication is easier, faster and cheaper in far distance by technology device that can go anywhere. Graphics design are popular in the world. In a time of technology, high technology provides new computer’s tools to create art work and give more comfort. Today we will see many designers, cartoonists and game creators will use pen mouse (pen tablet). If you want to be one of them in the future or if you want to create excellent work in your free time and if you want to have a great pen mouse for your graphic’s work, there are many brands such as Wacom, Genius, Hanvon and others. In this essay I will compare Wacom and Genius brands of pen mouse subject by subject.
Both are familiar and good for creative work. The first is Genius pen mouse. Genius pen mouse has many size that you can choose for your work. Genius is a new design tablet for you to write or draw freely and handily. At work, you can use Genius pen mouse to give a professional presentation or annotate important notes to your documents. For art, Genius pen mouse works great with any software to edit your digital photos and to create your cartoon and game. In my experience, nowadays I use it when I do my game project to design and create the characters and location in a game. For fun, you can send your handwritten messages to your friends while you're chatting on the Internet that I always use to chat with friends by sending my handwritten or drawing some pictures for fun. In addition, the price of Genius is not expensive but you can create good work by cash in low-cost. Adobe Creative Suite : By use
How much do you know about Adobe Creative Suite,? Is this the best of program creating for you, or not,? Why do most people choose this program for creating their work? It is because Adobe Creative Suite (CS) is a collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications made by Adobe Systems. There are many applications in the various Adobe Creative Suite editions such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver and etc. The use of each edition is different. So this essay will describe for most three popular applications which are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Flash. By use we can categorize them into three categories that is used for editing, painting and animating.
The first category is editing and the application to edit the picture is Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor (raster graphic image is a data structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels, or points of color, viewable via a monitor, paper, or other display medium. Raster images are stored in image files with varying formats). I always use this program for editing pictures and make them more beautiful. By using many tools such as filter the images with artistic tool, blur, brush stroke and others, editing the image with selection tool, improving image or participate image by using gradient tool, painting and adding text using motion graphics editing and quickly adjusts specific image areas with easier access to all the tools for creating and editing nondestructive masks by using adjustment and masks panels. That we can’t do with other application of Adobe Creative Suite.
The next category is painting. I use Adobe Illustrator for painting or editing vector graphics (Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon, which are all based upon mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.) There are many features use for painting such as Sophisticated vector drawing controls: Sketch naturally using the Blob Brush tool that turns strokes into a single filled object. Advanced path controls, graphic styles, and appearance editing enable intuitive vector drawing, Live Paint: Easily paint closed or partially closed objects with the Live Paint Bucket, which automatically detects and corrects gaps. Interactively select colors from the Swatches panel for faster work, Refined graphic styles: Combine styles for unique effects and increased efficiency. Apply styles to an object without disturbing its original appearance and other features that can create beautiful graphics.
The last category is animating. I use Adobe Flash to create the animation. Adobe flash is a software family dedicated to various Adobe multimedia technologies: Adobe Flash Professional, which is a multimedia authoring program used to create web applications, games, movies, and content for mobile phones and other embedded devices. It features support for vector and raster graphics, a scripting language called ActionScript . Adobe Flash Player, which is a free software application which allows the playing of standalone Adobe Flash (SWF) multimedia files. Nowadays many websites use flash for creating graphics animation and game flash animation is also popular. There are some features of Adobe Flash that I use for creating graphics animation, which is Object-based animation : Gain complete control over individual animation attributes with object-based animation, which applies tweens directly to objects instead of to keyframes; Easily make changes to motion paths with Bezier handles; Motion presets : ump-start a project with prebuilt animations that can be applied to any object; Select from dozens of presets or create and save your own; Share presets with others to save animation time. That are some of it that I had used. So I love to use this program because it can build an animation and make my work more attractive.
In my opinion I think the three of them are good and suitable for the creator who wants to create art works because every application is necessary and is used in different ways. Maybe in the future, the application can be refined to get better and have more features to create powerful graphics. So for today one, or all of them might be suitable for you. You must decide for yourself.

Instant Messaing (IM)
Communication is very important nowadays, especially through instant messaging on the internet which is popular and comfortable for everyone. Most people use an instant messaging to communicate with each other. Instant messaging or IM deals with a form of real-time communication between two or more people based on typed text. The text is conveyed via devices connected over a network such as the Internet. IM allows effective and efficient communication, featuring immediate receipt of acknowledgment or reply. In certain cases Instant Messaging involves additional features, which make it even more popular, to talk face to face by using web-cams, or to talk directly for free over the Internet. At present there are many services of IM on the internet such as Window live messenger, Tencent QQ, Skype , Yahoo! Messenger, etc. Here are a few examples of instant messaging services.
First is Tencent QQ, referred to as QQ, is the most popular free instant messaging computer program in Mainland China, and the world’s third most popular IM service. The program is maintained by Tencent Holding Limited. Aside from the chat program, QQ has also developed many subfeatures including games, pets, ringtone downloads, and many more. QQ has many features such as chatrooms, games, personal avatars, internet storage, and internet dating services. Most of these features are free. Its variety of features and easy-to-use interface made it very popular, especially among teenage users. In a few short years it became the most popular real time communications service in China. The strange truth of Tencent QQ is plagiarism because it has been known to copy its competitors' features. The interface of early version of Tencent messenger was almost the same to ICQ, but as it developed, it started to look more like Windows Live Messenger. In Thailand using Tencent QQ on www.sanook.com and called as sanook! QQ and this program very popular in Thai’s teenagers many years ago.
Second is Windows Live Messenger (it’s also called as MSN) is an instant messaging client created by Microsoft that is currently designed to work with Windows XP, Windows vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows server 2008, and Windows Mobile. The client has been part of Microsoft’s Window Live set of online services since 2005. It connects to Microsoft’s.Net Messenger Service. MSN has several features in a program that are sharing folders, PC-to-phone calls, interoperability, offline messaging, “I’m” initiative, S60 platform and Xbox integration. The first version of Windows Live Messenger is version 1.0. It included only basic features, such as plain text messaging and simplistic contact list. And the latest is the beta version of Windows Lives Messenger 2009 as of Milestone 3. Nowadays, I use MSN for chatting with friends because it has good feature and the interface is easy to use and is beautiful. Worldwide, most people choose Windows Live Messenger for their IM.
The last example of IM is Skype. Skype is a software that allows users to make telephone calls over the internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a fee. Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer and video conferencing. Furthermore, skype has new additional service that is called SkyOut which provides users to pay money when they call from their computers to general phones or mobile phones around the world. Skype is available on mobile devices. On April 24, 2008, Skype announced that they offer Skype on around 50 mobile phones. On October 29, 2007, Skype launched its own mobile phone under the brand name 3 Skypephone, which runs a BREW OS. The official symbian version was developed in 2006 but was not released. Skype has experienced rapid growth in popular usage since the launch of its services. It was acquired by eBay in September 2005 for $2.6 billion. From the research we know that on December 31, 2007 Skype had 276 million user accounts. Users may have more than one account, and it is not possible to identify users with multiple accounts. It was reported that 14,208,194 skype users were online as of December 16, 2008. It means skype is very popular for people around the world.
According to the three examples of instant messaging that I have described, you will know about some history, features and some details of Tencent QQ, Windows Live Messenger and Skype. In the real world, there are more than three programs of instant messaging on the internet which most people around the world use to connect with each other. But the three examples are the most popular and effective. So from the details, we know some points or some features that are different from others. You can try any of them and find out which suits you.

Verdant sphere: a 3-D game to rescue earth.
Games have been regarded as a new study and data center and has interested most youth. Thus, this has an influence on Thai youth, which we can see as there are many formats of today’s games, irrespective of take adventure, fight, speed and so much more. These are all interesting. So for today the creator will has an idea to create the sphere. You can learn more about background of the game, definition, objective and benefit of the verdant sphere in the next part.
Games are familiar in young people, juvenile and including adult people are know many games as fighting, adventure and give only entertainment but don’t give the knowledge and show people to be aware of some serious situation in nowadays. If we had considered about the information in the internet and news we only hear and sometime learn but not conscious about the global warming problem, so for today verdant sphere can remind the people, they can learn and realize about the problem that happened. And on the internet has only 2-dimentions game about global warming that not interesting for the player. So verdant sphere: a 3-D game to rescue earth was created.
The verdant sphere is mean, the earth or sphere will green, fresh and livable. When player play the game, they will feel lively as the name of verdant sphere. The verdant sphere is a 3D game created by a group of students that with the objective reminding people to be aware of the problem of global warming that happen in the present. This game provides the basic character’s perspective to the player. The game is focused on how global warming happened, effect of global warming and the ways to solve the problem that the player will play and learn by the game. For example, to show the effect of global warmin, the player must choose some activity in the game if it wrong the game will show the effect that happened next.
There are many objectives to create verdant sphere such as, to present the global warming problem in 3D game, and to instill to the people to keep the environment better and use available time to do a good job. Verdant sphere uses the 3Ds MAX and DarkBASIC tools to generate and import all of the character’s models and location of the game and game can interact to the youth in 3D that is popular in the present.
The benefit of the game can be explained for more understanding. For instance, this is one strategy for juveniles to let them know about global warming. Next, to make the youth aware of the causes and effects of the global warming and to let them know how to decrease this problem. Then, game can develop their knowledge by learning a new technology. After that, to add the knowledge about the global worming into 3D computer games and make more fun, and lastly, games encourage the player to look at, understand, and experience.
Although the player can receive knowledge of global warming from the verdant sphere game, however, if people don’t care about the problem that happened next in the future, the verdant sphere game can’t help people to be aware of the problem and doesn’t have advantage to the people. It is important to understand the information and problem of global warming from learning by doing in daily life, which means playing a game and absorbing the good things and purposes of the creator because in a game will told the cause and effect of behavior that the player do in the game that happened the global warming. So player can aware of activities that they do in daily life and problem that will happened next, it can dangerous for the earth in the future.

Evolution of Photoshop
Everyone has heard of the popular graphics editing software package Photoshop. In this article I will cover the major points of the evolution of Photoshop. Photoshop was developed and distributed by the Adobe Photoshop Company. At the very beginning, it was intended for editing images for printing, but it has also gained popularity as a tool for creating and editing web graphics. This is another reason that it has become so popular. The last Photoshop versions also include the special application - ImageReady, which was added specifically to work with web graphics easier.
In 1987, Thomas Knoll and John Knoll started developing Photoshop. In 1989 they completed the project and called it Photoshop 1.0. In 1988 it was licensed to Adobe and released, finally, as Photoshop, in 1990. Adobe became interested in this project and the first version of Photoshop was released in 1990. Initially Photoshop was created for the Macintosh platform. Compatibility updates for Windows, IRIX, and Solaris was added later. At present Photoshop can be used on Windows and Macintosh platforms. Photoshop is written in the C++ programming language. Because of there are several versions of Photoshop, so I will provide only Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and recently version is Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Beginning from version 8 the product changed its name to Adobe CS. The CS abbreviation means that several applications are now integrated into one software package - Adobe Creative Suite. The following products are included into Adobe Photoshop package: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe GoLive, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Version Cue, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Stock Photos and Dreamweaver 8 (after Macromedia was sold to Adobe). The logo was changed as well. Now it has feathers instead of an eye.
First, Adobe Photoshop CS (8.0) released in October 2003 for Mac OS X and Windows. The plug-in Camera RAW was updated to version 2.x. The Slice tool also underwent major improvements. Shadow\Highlight and Match Color commands were added. Lens Blur filter and Smart Guides were included as well. Histogram now works in real-time.
Second, Adobe Photoshop CS2 (9.0) released in April 2005 for Mac OS X and Windows. The Camera RAW plug-in was updated to version 3.x. Smart Objects and other features were added, including: Image Warp, Lens Correction, Smart Sharpen, Vanishing Point. New Spot healing brush and Red-Eye tools were introduced. Layer editing was also improved.
Third Adobe Photoshop CS3 (10.0) is marketed with three main components of improvement over previous versions: "Work more productively, edit with unrivalled power, and composite with breakthrough tools." New features propagating productivity include streamlined interface, improved Camera Raw, better control over print options, enhanced PDF support, and better management with Adobe Bridge.
